My resume was designed in a rather classical - perhaps even old-fashioned - style. The previous versions dated back to 2018, which is almost 10 years ago! So, I decided to analyse my initial design and improve it, focusing on the design (not the content).

Components are key elements to master in UX Design. They help maintain consistency in designs and, most of all, they are efficient! On the fifth day of the UI challenge, the product card became a reusable component, ensuring every instance remains synchronised. Designing with components means being smart, efficient, and productive.

That was easy peasy. A good easy exercise to a smooth start into the week!

Well, well, well.... This exercise revealed that the distinction between Parent and Child frame settings was not yet fully clear. Creating harmonious and neat texts and logos for the navigation bar proved to be a real challenge. Mastering Auto Layout and Tidy Up was necessary. Auto Layout was particularly tricky, constantly changing settings when the incorrect layer was selected 😂. AI guidance proved invaluable for overcoming obstacles and clarifying missing pieces 😀.

This app page design was fun! Shifted the guideline from a card to an app page, as the business card was designed the same day.

This one was quite easy, informed by extensive Applied Arts / Design A-Level practice. The process evoked positive nostalgia, like reconnecting with a forgotten creative past.

That was a great exercise ! Once the hover button is mastered, spiced up the task by replicating the recent iOS glass effect.
